Xalatan Eye Drop

Composition:

• Active ingredient: Latanoprost 0.005%
• Inactive ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, and water for injection.

Dosage:

• The usual recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
• Do not use more than the prescribed amount as it will not increase the effectiveness of the medication and may cause side effects.

Indications:

• Xalatan 0.005% is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
• It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby reducing the pressure inside the eye.
