Promethazine Injection

Composition:

• Each 2ml ampoule of Nelb promethazine injection contains 50mg of promethazine.

Dosage:

• The usual adult dose for promethazine injection is 25 to 50 mg injected into a muscle or a vein.
• The dose may be repeated every 2 to 3 hours as needed.
• The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg in a 24-hour period.

Indications:

• Nelb promethazine injection is commonly used to treat nausea and vomiting, motion sickness, and allergic reactions.
• It can also be used as a sedative or to help with sleep before surgery or other medical procedures.
