Presdate (labetalol) injection 5mg/ml

Composition:

• Labetalol hydrochloride 5mg/ml

Dosage:

• The usual starting dose for Labetalol injection is 20 mg by slow intravenous injection over 2 minutes. This can be repeated at 10-minute intervals until a satisfactory response is achieved, up to a maximum dose of 300 mg.

Indications:

• Labetalol injection is indicated for the management of hypertension, including hypertensive emergencies and severe hypertension when rapid reduction of blood pressure is required.
