Permethrin Cream 5% 30g

Composition:

• Permethrin 5% w/w in a 30g cream or lotion formulation.

Dosage:

• For the treatment of scabies: Apply a thin layer of Permethrin 5% cream/lotion to the entire body from the neck down and leave it on for 8-14 hours before washing off. Repeat the treatment after 7 days if necessary.

Indications:

• Permethrin 5% is commonly used to treat scabies, a skin infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It works by paralyzing and killing the mites and their eggs. Permethrin is also used to treat other parasitic infestations such as head lice and pubic lice.
