Parasam IV (pcm infusion 1000mg)

Composition:

• Each vial contains Paracetamol 1000mg in 100ml of solution for intravenous infusion.

Dosage:

• The usual adult dosage for Paracetamol 1000mg intravenous infusion is 1000mg every 6 hours as needed for pain or fever. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4000mg.

Indications:

• Paracetamol 1000mg intravenous infusion is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain, fever reduction, and as an alternative to oral administration in patients who are unable to take medications by mouth. It is commonly used in post-operative settings, for acute pain management, and in cases where oral administration is not feasible.
