Panadol Plain tabs

**Composition:**

• Each tablet contains:
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) - 500 mg
• Excipients (such as starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate) - as needed for tablet formulation.

**Dosage:**

• **Adults and Children over 12 years:**
• The usual dose is 1 tablet (500 mg) every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
• Do not exceed 8 tablets (4000 mg) in 24 hours.
• **Children (6 to 12 years):**
• The dosage should be based on the child's weight. Generally, 10-15 mg/kg per dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
• Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours.
• **Elderly:**
• Dosage may need to be adjusted based on individual health conditions. Consult a healthcare provider.

**Indications:**

• Panadol is indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain, including:
• Headaches
• Toothaches
• Muscular pain
• Back pain
• Menstrual pain
• Pain associated with colds and flu
• It is also used to reduce fever.

**Precautions:**

• Use with caution in patients with liver disease or heavy alcohol consumption.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose to avoid the risk of liver damage.
