**Composition:**

Each Olicap Capsule contains:

  • Diclofenac Sodium: 50 mg

**Dosage:**

  • **Adults:** The usual recommended dose is 50 mg to 75 mg of Diclofenac Sodium, taken two to three times daily, depending on the severity of the condition. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
  • **Elderly Patients:** Dosage may need to be adjusted based on the patient's response and tolerance. It is advisable to start with the lowest effective dose.
  • **Children:** The safety and efficacy of Diclofenac Sodium in children have not been established. Use in pediatric patients should be determined by a healthcare professional.

**Indications:**

Olicap (Diclofenac Sodium) is indicated for the relief of:

  • Acute pain, including postoperative pain
  • Chronic pain associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Inflammatory conditions, including ankylosing spondylitis
  • Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)
  • Other musculoskeletal disorders

**Note:** It is important to take Olicap with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal irritation. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any new medication, and follow their guidance regarding dosage and duration of treatment.
