Imodium 2mg Janssen x 6caps

Imodium is a medication used to treat diarrhea by slowing down intestinal movement, reducing bowel movements and watery stool. 

It is indicated for acute and chronic diarrhea, including inflammatory bowel disease, and can be used to decrease discharge from ileostomies. 

The usual starting dose for adults and children over 12 is 2 mg after the first loose stool, followed by 1 mg after each subsequent loose stool, up to 4 mg per day. 

For children aged 6-12, the starting dose is 1 mg after the first loose stool, followed by 0.5 mg after each subsequent loose stool, up to 3 mg per day. Follow dosage instructions from your healthcare provider or on the packaging.
