Freshborn Gentamicin 0.3% Eye/Ear Drop
Composition:
- Gentamicin 0.3% (3 mg/mL) eye/ear drop
Dosage:
For eye infections:
- Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours, or as directed by a healthcare provider.
For ear infections:
- Tilt your head to the side and instill 2 to 3 drops into the affected ear(s) every 4 hours, or as directed by a healthcare provider. Keep the head tilted for a few minutes to allow the drops to penetrate the ear canal.
Indications:
- Gentamicin 0.3% eye/ear drop is commonly used to treat bacterial infections of the eye and ear, such as conjunctivitis (pink eye) and otitis externa (swimmer's ear).
- It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, thereby helping to clear up the infection.
- It is important to use the medication as prescribed by a healthcare provider and to complete the full course of treatment to ensure the infection is fully eradicated.
