Fizycam (Piroxicam) 20mg Capsules
Composition:
Each capsule contains:
- **Piroxicam**: 20 mg
- **Excipients**: (may include but are not limited to) lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate, and gelatin (for the capsule shell).
#### Dosage:
- **Adults**: The usual recommended dose is 20 mg once daily. In some cases, the dose may be increased to 40 mg per day, divided into two doses, depending on the severity of the condition and the patient's response to treatment.
- **Elderly**: Caution is advised in elderly patients, and a lower dose may be considered based on individual tolerance and renal function.
- **Children**: Safety and efficacy in children have not been established; therefore, Piroxicam is not recommended for pediatric use.
#### Indications:
Piroxicam is indicated for the relief of:
- **Osteoarthritis**: Management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis.
- **Rheumatoid Arthritis**: Treatment of pain and inflammation in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

#### Contraindications:
