Alphagan (brimonidine) 0.2% Eye drop 5ml
Composition:
- Active ingredient: Brimonidine tartrate 0.2%
- Inactive ingredients: Purified water, boric acid, sodium borate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and purified water. The solution may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH.
Dosage:
- The usual recommended dosage for Alphagan ophthalmic solution 0.2% is one drop in the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart.

Indications:
- Alphagan (Brimonidine tartrate) ophthalmic solution 0.2% is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
- It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor in the eye and increasing the drainage of fluid from the eye, thereby lowering intraocular pressure.
